In April, we spent the month heads-down on what matters just as much as shipping new features: stability, bug fixes, and refining the overall CMS experience. If things have been feeling a little smoother lately, that is why. Our focus was entirely on improving your content management experience and ironing out the rough edges across the board.
TL;DR
- Edit and Modify Schema β Customize your schema fields, field types, and input styles directly from the CMS.
- PowerAI Template β A free AI SaaS starter template built with Astro, now available in the Sitepins template library.
- Bug Fixes and Stability Improvements β A focused month of fixes and performance improvements across the CMS.

Edit and Modify Schema

What: You can now open the Edit Schema panel directly from within Sitepins and fully customize your content structure. For each field, you can set the field type, label, description, default value, and input style, and mark fields as required or hidden. Switch any field from a standard textbox to a dropdown, populated either with static options you define manually or pulled automatically from a folder in your repository.
Why: Freeform text fields lead to inconsistent data: typos in author names, broken category slugs, mismatched tags. With schema editing, you define the structure once and editors work within it. Cleaner data, fewer errors, and a faster editing experience for everyone on the team.

PowerAI Template

What: We added a new free template: PowerAI. Dark-themed AI SaaS starter template built with Astro. It comes with 15+ pre-built pages and 47 components and shortcodes, covering everything you would expect for a SaaS site: pricing, features, integrations, case studies, blog, careers, and more.
Itβs pre-configured and ready to use with Sitepins in one click. check out the demo right here.β
Who is it for: If youβre building an AI product or SaaS and need a polished site up fast, PowerAI gives you a solid, production-ready starting point without building from scratch. You can also test how easy it is to use with Sitepins to manage your content.

Bug Fixes and Stability Improvements
The bulk of April went into this. We worked through a range of fixes and under-the-hood improvements to make the CMS more reliable, more consistent, and better performing across the board.
