What's new in Sitepins — February 2026

We’ve kept the momentum from January going strong into February. This month we focused on giving you more control over your workflow, improving the editing experience, and shipping a handful of quality-of-life improvements that make daily use smoother. Whether you’re rolling back a mistake or visualizing complex diagrams, February is all about reliability and precision.

Here’s everything we shipped this month:

TL;DR

  • Version Rollback & Restore — Undo changes directly in the CMS.
  • Flexible Repository Switching — Change your Git repository direct from the project settings
  • Edit Configs as Code — Direct access to configuration files.
  • Mermaid Preview Support — Live diagrams and charts in the editor.
  • UI/UX Overhaul — A faster, more consistent component library interface.
  • Mobile Friendly — View your app on mobile and tablet seamlessly.
  • Organization Overview Layout — Better management for teams and projects.
  • Improved Loading Screen — Skeleton state loading screens.
  • Bug Fixes and Improvements — Minor bug fixes and stability.

Version Rollback & Restore

What: You can now roll back any changes to a previous version and restore it directly from within the CMS.

Why: Instead of digging through Git history or asking a developer for help, you can now undo changes with a single click. It’s the ultimate safety net for content teams, allowing you to experiment freely, knowing you can always go back.

Flexible Repository Switching

What: You can now disconnect or change your Git repository directly from the project settings without having to delete the entire project.

Why: You can migrate to a new repository or simply point Sitepins to a different source without having to delete and recreate your project from scratch. Just disconnect or switch the underlying repo in from the settings page.

Edit Configs as Code

What: Power users can now edit Sitepins’ configuration files directly as code within the editor.

Why: While our visual settings are great for most, sometimes you just want to tweak a config file. This feature gives developers the flexibility to manage their CMS setup exactly how they want without ever leaving the browser.

Note: This is a premium feature

Mermaid Preview Support

What: We’ve added a preview for Mermaid.js in the editor. You can now write diagram code in your Markdown and see it render into a chart or flowgraph instantly.

Why: If you’re building technical documentation or blogs, you can now write Mermaid code and see a live preview of your flowcharts and diagrams instantly. No external tools required.

New Organization Overview

What: We’ve redesigned the layout where you can manage your organizations and teams.

Why: For agencies and teams managing dozens of sites, the old list was getting a bit crowded. The new layout is cleaner, more searchable, makes it easier to switch between repositories and manage team permissions.

Improved Loading Screen

What: New loading component features skeleton states for content lists and dashboard elements.

Why: Speed feels better. Smoother skeleton screens create a more polished experience and set expectations for what’s loading, reducing user frustration while waiting for files to render.

Mobile Friendliness

What: We’ve optimized the app to respond well on all your mobile devices, tablet, and desktop simultaneously.

Why: A mobile-friendly approach gives you a distinct advantage by allowing you to manage content and push changes from any device. This optimized experience ensures your workflow remains seamless and uninterrupted.

UI/UX Overhaul

What: We’ve rebuilt our entire component library using a new design system, bringing a more consistent, accessible, and modern look across every part of the application.

Why: Adopting a modern, accessible component library means faster performance, better navigation and a more consistent feel across every button, modal and menu. The CMS now would feel lighter and more responsive than ever.

Bug Fixes and Stability Issues

We also worked on minor bug fixes and issues to keep everything running smoothly.
